Hi Andrew!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really thorough list of things you would need to take on a hike, excellent job!
I like that you have listed really sensible clothing options, when I did the Tongariro Crossing for a school trip our guide told us that that was the most common reason why people ran into trouble on the track, because they weren't dressed correctly!
I hadn't heard of a PLB before but that is a really clever device! I think that is a sensible addition to your pack on a longer hike.
Sounds like you might be a little bit of an expert with hiking - Have you done a lot of hikes before? Do you have a favourite one?
Great work with this activity Andrew!

My family go on horse trecks every year for about a month at a time. Different places every year. It takes a whole year to plan a new treck.
ReplyDeleteHi Andrew!
ReplyDeleteWoah! That is so cool! What time of year do you go? - I think this is so awesome, it sounds like so much fun! ....Where will your next trek be?
