2 major facts of WWII

1. Briton, NZ, Australia and France declare war on Germany 2. The battle of D-Day Facts: WWII started when Hitlers Nazis invaded Poland this was the battle of Poland and was called a lighting attack because it was done so fast 1 week later the Allies:Briton NZ, France, Australia decided Hitlers actions were unacceptable band declared war against the Nazis on there side there were Italy, Japan, China and for a start Russia. When all Europe (Except Briton) was under Nazi Control so British and American solders went in Planes to Parashute behind enemy lines while most of the enemy forces were on the beach while the navy were destracting the main body of enemy troops were fighting on the Beach.

    What a shame all your WW2 books are at home but I know you know heaps of things about it - like who were the allies fighting?

    What are some things you know happened in the war? Or some things you remember about your Great Grandparents?
