I must say, well done on filling out your Pepeha! It is commendable to be able to relate to another culture; after all we are all human. I'm really proud of you for participating.
My great grandparents also emigrated here from Scotland. I know quite a bit about my Māori side of the whanau, but only very little about my Scottish ancestry. I do know that they were Knights to the Gentry. How crazy is that!
Is there anything else you know about your ancestors?
A Pepeha is a really wonderful way for us to communicate our identities. And it's a strong form of presentation because it's information that we can pass down.
Kia Ora Andrew,
