This is a great poem - I am thinking it is an acrostic poem? If you would like to make it a traditional acrostic poem you would need to make you main word going down the page like this:
Celebration Relieved Outdoors SAS Surprised Intrigued Not nervous anymore Glad

I really like the words you have picked as a part of your poem, they are very clever and reflect the flight the Southern Cross took well!
Would you like to be on a flight like that? I think that I would have been a big baby if I was on that flight...I don't much like turbulence and I can only imagine how insane their plane ride was!
