Impereator

Imperator
Chapter I Romans advance
General Lucas Cornelius Wadus commander of the 7th
legion positioned in Britannia marched towards the Decurion Marcus Caius’s tent.
“Ave Marcus,” said General Wadus. The two Roman officers walked along the treeline.
Suddenly there was a huge roar of Celtic voices. Their leader bellowed,
“Be banished from our homeland or suffer mortal defeat.” “Quid! Quid!”
shouted 10 Roman legionaries. The familiar sound of scraping swords on scabbards
quickly came. Then the commander yelled, “Tostedo foration,”
so the legionaries made the formation. The simple soilders held the Celts off and the rest
of them fled. Soon the Roman legion advanced into Araluen.
On the frontier of Hispania
Two legionaries were on watch duty on the border, when suddenly one heard a Spanish
voice say, “Cuando yo digo tres!” “Hold it Legionary Galucus;
I thought I heard somebody speaking Spanish over there.”
“Nonsense Legionary Dalonsus. The Hispainians or any other Spanish would not dare
sully Roman territory with their dirty feet, by Jupiter”.
Suddenly five Hispainians jumped out of the bush.
Two pounced on the Romans and held their mouths.
Then they were tied up with rope. ”Bien hecho Juan,Xavier,Luis and Paulo.
"Marga vida Mauro nuestro jefe”. “Ahora al bosque de la Algarve.”

  1. Hi Andrew, it's me, Issac from Karoro School. It is amazing how much you know about the Romans. I really like chapter 1 when the officers came in.
