Scaling New Heights

The charity I choose is The Champion Centre.
It is in Christchurch.

It provides early intervention services to babies and pre-school aged kids with significant disabilities.

The Champion Centre offers services for children who have special needs or children whose developmental progress is at risk. Children who attend the centre have a wide range of special needs. These include Down syndrome, other genetic disorders, cerebral palsy, extreme prematurity, epilepsy, developmental dyspraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorder and brain injury.

  1. Hi Andrew,

    Leisha here again!

Firstly, I think it is amazing that you have chosen to write about your own choice of charity. I hadn’t heard of The Champion Centre before, but it sounds like an amazing charity!

You have given a great explanation about what the charity does and who they specifically help. Well done! Do you know if The Champion Centre has locations anywhere else outside of Christchurch or is it Christchurch based charity only?

Keep up the great work Andrew!

    Until next time.

    Leisha
