SLJ - Through Careful Observation

The Photo that I have chosen has: Silver stars among the blue swirly night sky a town below mountains in the distance. A tower rising from the town, grass covering part of the sky that is blue. Swirls in torrents in front of the mountains.

This is what I have seen in the picture I have chosen

  1. Hello Andrew,

You have given a good description of what you could see in the painting you have chosen. Any reason why you chose this painting?

I like how you described the blue swirly night sky. What does the swirly night sky remind you of? It makes me think of the wind. What do you think? I also like how you described a tower rising from the town. I think that tower kind of looks like a castle or a church maybe. I wonder what the black shape is at the front of the picture!? Any ideas what that could be?

Ka mau te pai for giving us an interpretation of this painting. I find that the more I look at it, the more I notice. Have another look now, is there anything different you can see?

Keep up the great work Andrew!
