Waka races in NZ

I Don't won't to do it because if anyone in the crew strokes too late then you would go really slow.

    Ruby here from the Summer Learning Journey team.
    I think that's a great reason! You would need to practice a lot and have great teamwork skills. What sorts of things do you think you could do to practice these skills?

    I wouldn't want to be in a Waka Ama race because I'm not very good at swimming and would be afraid of falling out of the Waka!
    Are there any other sports you would rather play?

    I look forward to reading more of your blog over summer.
