I would celebrate VE day by:
1. I would have a braai (South African BBQ)
2. Go for a swim at the river (if it is sunny)
3. Play games (like cricket and rugby if it is sunny or rummikub if it is raining)
4. Go for a horse ride
I would invite all my family and a couple of friends.

I hadn't heard of braai before but it looks delicious! Is it all just meat that is cooked?
How did you come across braai?
I like that you would play games at your party - I always liked playing games with my cousins when we would get together. We would play a lot of bats down or tagging games and when it would get dark we'd play Spotlight. Have you played that before? It might be called something different now, but it was hide and seek in the dark and the seeker had a torch to spot people.
