He played college football for Stanford, where he won the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Award as college footballs player of the year and was twice recognised as an All-American and also runner up for the Heisman trophy in 2010-2011. He's passed 4,593 yards and 39 touchdown passes in 2018 which leaves him in second ahead of the famous Tom Brady and only behind Patrick MaHomes (Kansas City Chiefs).
