The Sky in Shanghai

The sky in Beijing makes my head ring
I don't feel well breathing in the smell
I want to weep when I go to sleep
The smog is grey which leaves me in dismay
We all need to fix it, do our bit and not just sit

  1. Hello Andrew,
I am Vitaraag. I agree with the last sentence we all do need to doa bit to help air pollution. Maybe next time you can add information about what is happening in Beijing. Keep up the good work!

  2. Hi Andrew!
Thanks for sharing such a wonderful poem.
I have never been to China before, but it is quite sad that almost everyone wears a mask. One day I would like to visit China! Your poem is wonderful! I think you should continue writing more poems.

Have you tried Chinese food before? I love sweet sour chicken!

    Keep up the great work!

  3. Hi Hasiba

I understand why some Chinese people wear masks when they're visiting New Zealand now. Before I thought it was weird but now I know that they're trying to keep themselves healthy because of the dangerous smog in their home country.

I really like Chinese food too, I think my favourite is dumplings.

    Andrew
