The WWF: World Wildlife Fund

1. The WWF are trying to help save Freshwater Seals.

2. The WWF are building snowbanks for the pups to be born in so they have shelter from the weather, other animals and humans.

3. About 50% of the pups will die without snow banks so they are saving half of the pups born, this is not really a long term solution though, it should be able to happen naturally.

  1. Hi Andrew!

Awesome summary of the video - you have highlighted all of the key information required in a succinct, informative way!

I thought that it was a pretty cool video to show what they have to do in order to make the snowbanks and explain how that will help the pups.
I am not that fond of the cold weather but I think helping to build the snowbanks would be worth it - would you like to help on a project like that?

It is really sad that the world is in such a state that this isn't happening naturally - Have you been talking much about climate change in school?
I am sure you know of some pretty cool iniatives that people can get involved in?

    Great work Andrew!
